Summary

DUSK is a retro FPS (Hi, Doomguy!) developed by David Szymanski and published by New Blood Interactive. In it, you rip and tear through cultists and other such Szymanski fair.

Had fun with Iron Lung and wanted to explore the wider indie horror brought by the Szymanski/New Blood coterie of ne'er-do-wells. Also, I like Doom so should be good fun!

Review

Very good. Funny, pleasing in the hands, well-constructed. A joy. Certainly what I needed after Total War ended up taking forever to finish. As the saying goes: I want shorter games with worse graphics made by people who are paid more to work less and I'm not kidding. We will be visiting more games in this area. I find it hard to come up with any criticisms because DUSK is simply a good game.
